The Cabin is a restaurant in Freehold, NJ right off of Rt. 33, and the name is definitely fitting as it looks like just that…. a cabin. This rustic spot was suggested to me by a man who goes by Cash using our Suggest A Joint. I do not hide the fact that I am a big fan of Pic-A-Lilli Inn, and as a former South Jerseyan himself, Cash claims that when he misses his home town, The Cabin is there to fill the void with great wings that remind him of The Pic. The North Brunswick Pub, or just “The Pub” as it’s known by the locals, is the place where people would go to kick back, unwind, and have a great time. Growing up in Jersey, I’ve been there a bunch of times and it was always packed almost elbow to elbow. So you can imagine my excitement when word hit the street that one was opening up (read more…)
I was driving down 295 when I started to get a little rumbling in my belly, and seeing how it was about lunch time, I figured that I would find a place to grab some wings. It just so happens that I was in the Hamilton/Trenton area, and I remember getting a “Suggest a Joint” from Ted who told me that I needed to stop in and grab the wings at First N’ Ten Sports Pub because they are the best. What better chance to feed my craving and check out a local hot spot all at the same time.
I pulled into this rustic looking building on Hamilton Rd, walked into the (read more…)
For the past month or so, my brother-in-law has been trying to coordinate a trip with me to JoJo’s Tavern located in Hamilton, NJ. According to him, they have the best wings in his area, and after many failed attempts to meet up, our schedules finally coincided leaving us JoJo’s bound. So I head into Hamilton, park the car and walk into this small and friendly place. As I take my seat at the bar and (read more…)
