Through time there have been many great competing restaurants that keep their loyal customers battling it out to prove which one has the best product. In Philly if you are looking for a great cheesesteak there is either Geno’s or Pat’s, for a real Chicago deep dish pizza in Chicago it will be Pizzeria Uno or Lou Malnati’s, and if you find yourself in Buffalo chasing after some great wings there are only two names that stand in the forefront: Anchor Bar and Duff’s Famous Wings.

Bar Bill Tavern

During our weekend in Buffalo for the 2012 National Buffalo Festival, we had our fill of wings. Wings for breakfast, wings for lunch, wings for dinner. I know it sounds crazy, but when you love wings as much as I do and you are in the Buffalo wing capital of the world, you have to soak up as much as you can before that seven hour drive home. And seeing how the car was all fueled up, the only thing left to do was fuel up the bellies. So I took the advice of Mark from Wy’s Wings (a Buffalo native), and headed over to Bar Bill Tavern to get some quality grub.

Rookies

Though I may have been born and raised in New Jersey, my family originated in Long Island (pronounced with a hard “G”). Whether it be for work, or visiting relatives, or both, I find myself up that way quite a bit. So, it was just a matter of time before I found myself on one of these trips and craving some wings.
